Efficiently prepare and process consumer, commercial, and real estate loans with accuracy and minimal supervision. This role requires strong knowledge of loan documentation, compliance, and follow-up procedures. Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and capable of managing a transaction pipeline to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential to ensure timely, professional loan closings.

 

Outcomes and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

If not listed separately, responsibilities include consumer, commercial, and real estate loans.

 

  • Accurately and proficiently use the loan programs and documentation software needed to prepare all loan documents, modifications, extension agreements, and change in term requests without assistance.
  • Retain and apply a thorough knowledge of loan documentation and be knowledgeable about when certain documents are required.
  • Thoroughly know and apply all compliance regulations needed to accurately process all loans, modifications and change in term requests.
  • Keep an up-to-date pipeline and organized files. Effectively balance, prioritize and manage a quickly changing pipeline and process a variety of files for lenders.
  • Ensure the policies and underwriting requirements for all loans are followed and assist loan officers in gathering and analyzing data required to close transactions. Recognize and document loan policy exceptions, and ensure they are properly approved and accurately tracked.
  • Work with and communicate effectively and professionally with fellow teammates, real estate agents, title companies, underwriters, insurance agents, lenders, buyers and sellers to facilitate timely, accurate execution of all loan documents.
  • Interpret title work to determine actions required to ensure PCB will have a clear lien and clear the most common title exceptions quickly and accurately without assistance.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of insurance requirements for all loans, including the regulation requirements and procedures.
  • Pre-closing quality control review of required documentation for a complete loan file with no exceptions.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  •  Two to three years related banking experience and/or training.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must be a self-starter who can complete tasks with little-to-no supervision. Must demonstrate a team- first attitude and voluntarily answer phone calls, respond to emails, and complete variable tasks.
  • Reading and interpreting various documents and policies, writing reports, and communicating effectively and appropriately with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong fundamental mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting practical problems.
  • Ability to learn new tools, software, and equipment at a fast pace.
