As a Research Analyst, Risk and Emerging Technologies, you will assess emerging energy technologies and help quantify enterprise risk to assist strategic decision-making. You’ll play a key role in identifying disruptive trends, evaluating technical and regulatory impacts, and supporting risk-informed planning. What You’ll Do

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies impacting power generation, grid reliability, and system load.
• Build and apply risk models using data analysis tools to support enterprise risk management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and actionable insights
• Collaborate with external organizations and industry leaders to guide their research
• Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and internal publications to drive informed decision-making

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, or risk assessment methodologies
• Understanding of utility systems, energy technologies, or regulatory environments
