Grace Kitchen Coming Soon

Authentic Nigerian Cuisine Coming in November!

10/30/2025

Grace Kitchen is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its first restaurant location in downtown Springfield, Missouri, introducing residents to the bold, rich, and authentic tastes of Nigerian cuisine.

Owned and operated by Patience “Grace” Gigi, Grace Kitchen has been a beloved name in Springfield’s catering scene—known for its flavorful dishes, generous portions, and warm hospitality. With this new restaurant location, Grace is expanding her mission to share the vibrant culture and community that food creates.

“Our goal is simple,” said Gigi. “We want every customer to feel at home and experience a true taste of Nigeria—from the jollof rice to the tribal soups and delicious pastries that tell stories of celebration and comfort.”

The restaurant will feature a curated menu of signature dishes including Jollof Rice, Stew Chicken, Plantain, Egusi Soup, and a variety of traditional meat pies and Nigerian beverages such as Maltina and Vita Malt.

Grace Kitchen will be open Tuesday through Saturday (11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4–9 p.m.) and Sunday (4–9 p.m.), offering both dine-in and takeout options.

Located at 431 S Jefferson Ave, Suite 172, the restaurant aims to become a cultural and culinary hub where locals and visitors alike can gather to enjoy authentic African food made with love.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and community tasting event will be held in November in partnership with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. Guests will be invited to enjoy samples of menu favorites, meet the team, and celebrate the launch of a new flavor destination in the heart of Springfield.
