Join Chamber members to hear about how Missouri is strengthening its economic development toolkit through new resources aimed at supporting entrepreneurs, reducing regulatory barriers, and helping businesses start, grow and succeed.
This program will highlight the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s newly established Regulatory Relief Office and Office of Entrepreneurship, two resources designed to support business growth, reduce barriers and strengthen Missouri’s overall economic climate. Attendees will hear how these offices fit within the state’s broader economic development strategy and how they are working to connect businesses with resources, streamline processes and make it easier to navigate the path of starting and growing a business in Missouri.
The conversation will also feature Representative Alex Riley, who played a key role in advancing the legislation that created the Regulatory Relief Office. He will share the intent behind the office and how it fits into broader efforts to support a more responsive, business-friendly environment.
This collaborative event brings together the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the Missouri Department of Economic Development and efactory at Missouri State University to connect the dots between public policy, entrepreneurship, business services and regional economic growth.
